We started by talking to field sales teams. Over 70 customer interviews with reps, managers, and VP Sales across pharma, construction, insurance, and distribution.
Every conversation revealed the same thing: reps are having great conversations in the field, but 62% of that data never makes it into CRM. Managers can only ride along 3–5 times per quarter. The most valuable sales data in the organization is trapped in human memory.
Tools like Gong solved this for Zoom calls. But most B2B selling still happens face-to-face — on factory floors, in hospital corridors, at construction sites, in retail stores. Nobody was building for these teams.
